This is a well optioned, NUMBERS MATCHING, PHS documented car that is as in "bought new condition".
Sold new by Century Pontiac in Beaverton,OR.
The 455 HO package replaced the Super Duty in 1975.
The new order code,36W, UPC L75 included the 455 4 barrel enginewith 4-speed close ratio transmission, 3.23 rear axle ratio,specifically tuned exhaust with splitters, semi metallicfront disc brakes and the 455 HO decals on the hood.
Original option pricing in 1975 was $150.00.
This option was not made available until mid-April 1975, hence the LOW PRODUCTION numbers.
It was also not for sale in California due to tougher emissions regulations.
Orders didn't start until after April 28, 1975, with only 857 units produced.
IT IS ONE of the lower production numbers of HO'S
This Trans Am starts, runs and drives as it should.
