1969 Pontiac Catalina Convertible
This is a very nice Catalina that is ready to drive to cruise-ins. It is a low option car, but that makes it easier to work on! Original 400 V-8 runs great and starts up on first crank. The car drives great as well and I wouldhaveno concernsdriving it on a long road trip. Good brakes, front end and transmission.
Nice interior - looks like seats were recovered once in the past. Doors and dash are nice. The convertible top is still presentable, but the glue around the back glass window is coming apart. The top goes up and down without any problems.
Body is pretty solid, Floors are good, but I did find one small rust spot on left rear that was patched - but it is only about the size of a silver dollar. See pictures below. There is a little bondo in quarters and lower front fenders, but not bad at all. No bubbling. Trunk pan is solid. Car was repainted and looks great from 10 feet away - up close you will see some imperfections in the paint. Just trying to be honest - it is a nice car but not a perfect car.
For the price, this is a very nice driver quality convertible. You can enjoy it just the way it is.
