1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Additional Info:

Pontiac Fiero GT Low Original Miles Fully Over $7,000 Invested

Thank you for looking at this incredible little car. This Fiero has been thoroughly gone through and has had more than $7,000 invested in it for the engine rebuild, transmission rebuild, etc. I will list everything below. This all original and completely stock Fiero starts, runs and drives great. It is an accident and smoke free example of a great 80’s sports car. It Is definitely ready for whatever you have planned. Kit car, cosmetic restoration to your liking or just use it like it is. There is so much that has been done to the car it is a reliable and fun car to own and drive. This is a car that became a winter project a few years ago. At that time the engine and transmission were pulled out of the car. The engine was completely disassembled and fully rebuilt at 106K miles. The same for the transmission. It was rebuilt using a shift kit to firm up the shifts and provide a better shift pattern. The owner finished the car, drove it occasionally and then due to an injury the car was put away in storage for a year. If you have always wanted a Fiero, or have had one in the past you know how much fun they are. Surprisingly roomy inside, great handling and an all-around fun car. Thank you for looking.

Please note the following about this car:

Although much has been done to this car, please keep in mind it is 31 years old. As such there will be inherent issues as with any used car. I am going to list any known issues that has been reported from its inspection, road test and secondary inspection.

The outer window seals are original, dry and cracked.

The original GT taillights have some minor delamination and one small crack

The paint is decent, but far from perfect. It has chips, scratches, nicks, fading and other age-related issues

The wheels have some curb rash, but are true and straight

The driver’s seat has some bolster wear, and a couple of tears

The lower corners of the dash has the typical corner chips

The headliner is sagging in places

The trunk seal is original and could use to be replaced

The aftermarket stereo works well, but has poor radio reception

The power door locks work, but can be sticky

The power mirrors work, but the button can be sticky

The middle console has the usual warping around the shifter assembly

The passenger lower valance has a small crack as seen in the pics

The catalytic converter was removed and a test tube in its place. It is missing and does not come with the car

The GT sail windows are original, have some hazing but are not cracked

The A/C compressor is bad and needs replacing
