1989 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA 5.7 WS6 LOW MILES, T-TOPS

80k original miles, low mileage car, well maintained. Turnkey cruiser.

Exterior:

The red paint is in average to poor condition needs to be repainted soon. Two tone red and gray. The paint has a matte/semi-gloss finish. There are a few minor chips and scratches and minor here and there as would be expected of a car this age. The tires are newer with plenty of tread. 16” stock wheels are also in good condition. The rear spoiler is original and in better condition than most. The decals and striping on the car are in good condition. All of the glass is in excellent condition. Window & t-top seals need to be replaced(which I have and are included).

Interior:

The interior is good condition. The dash has some cracks. The upholstery and carpeting is in good condition some minor rips or tears, the door panels are solid with no cracking in the upper door panel plastic. Gauges, lights, blinkers, power windows, horn, work as they should, except for the odometer. Odometer reads 65000 miles. The headlights go up and down properly. Original radio has been replaced with CD/Aux/Bluetooth/Radio. Allows for hands free. New headliner.

Mechanical:

New 5.0 V8. The engine compartment is stock with no modifications. Excellent operating condition. The engine starts right up, idles well, and accelerates without hesitation. The engine is smooth with good power. The transmission shifts are precise in all gears. The car tracks straight, handles, and is a pleasure to drive. The brakes are in good working order. The air conditioning blows cold. Car has been taken on multiple 75 mile + trips. Great cruiser - runs consistently at 180 degrees and levels off at 215 degrees in heavy traffic and 90+ degree weather. Easy 26+ mpg gallon on the highway and turns 1800 RPM at 70+ mph. Undercarriage is in very good overall condition with no issues. Appears to have had some electrical work prior to my ownership

Summary:
