1970 Pontiac Firebird Esprit Additional Info:
Up for auction is a 1970 Firebird Esprit with the following factory options: 400 2 barrel 265 HP engine, TH400 automatic transmission, 12 Bolt standard rear axle with 3:07 ratio, Power Disc Brakes, power steering, A/C, Rally Gauge Cluster with clock, dual horns, door edge guards as well as the standard equipment associated with the Esprit trim level. The factory color is Coronado Gold with Sandalwood interior.
The body is nice and solid but does have some dents and dings. The body is solid and the only potential rust I found other than surface is in the lower corners of the front windshield. The car still has its numbers matching XX code block, COS code rear axle but the transmission was replaced at some point with a PB code TH400. The engine was partially disassembled by a previous owner to repair a blown head gasket and the parts were lost by the previous owner. The engine does not turn over by hand. The vehicle was last registered in 1991 and is currently on Non Op in CA. Actual mileage is unknown.
I have many more pictures of the vehicle available. Included with the sale but not pictured is a rear bumper core, a pair of grills, under dash a/c ducts. Overall the vehicle is a solid project car that needs total restoration. All the pros and cons cannot be fully described in this listing so I am available to discuss and answer any questions by phone. Inspections in person are welcomed by appointment only.
The Vehicle is being Sold As Is and it is the responsibility of the winning bidder to pick up or ship the vehicle at their expense. The auction may end at any time and is subject to local sale. winning bidder has 15 days from final payment to pick up the vehicle. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
