1964 Pontiac Catalina Convertable Additional Info:

Straightbody, 389 engine, historical plates, automatic, power windows.
Car runs but carb needs a rebuild.
Car needs restoration like interior and paint but it's mostly original and in good shape.
Pros:
-Car has a straight body, minor rust behind one rear fender.
-engine runs strong.
-car is mostly complete for anyone planning to restore.
-transmission seals replaced about 6 years ago- (about 60 miles ago).
-replaced fuel pump, changed oil+filter, new radiator cap.
Cons:
-Top is starting to tear. (Has small tears now). Rear plastic window replaced about 5 years ago.
-needs interior work
-needs one hood hinge (bent)
-rear fenders trimmed/rolled for wider wheels. (Some paint rubbed off on left side).
-carburetor was rebuilt about 10 years ago but needs a rebuild.
-Doesn't have conv. top motor-(never had it in 16 years of ownership).
I have owned this car since 2001. I planned on doing a light restoration but I have too many projects going on. Car was garaged for many years but has not been in the last two years.

Generalinformation:Car must have been painted many years ago because left front fender is green color under paint chips.Tires have good tread, however, they are weather cracked.Car runs but stalls and needsstarterfluid in carb to start. Ihaven't really driven the car in about 4 years.Car has minor rust.One crackedtail-light.Does not have a spare tire.Original radio included (never tested).
