1980 Pontiac Trans Am T-Tops Additional Info:

For sale is a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am with t-tops. In good shape. Was restored once in the early 90s. Engine (301) was rebuilt in 1999. Total mileage on the car is 150,000. Mileage on new engine is less than 4000. New tires (less than 100 miles on them). Automatic transmission. I have owned it for approximately 22 years. I have a copy of the original window sticker. Leaks a little coolant. Leaks a little transmission fluid. Leaks a little water around the t-tops in the rain. Power Windows work. Has air conditioning that currently does not work. Has power locks that work most of the time, but needs some work. Great fun, V8, original powerhouse. A head turner. Downsizing and time to sell off some of the toys.

Additional information on 7/9/2017 -- People asking about rust and ttops. No rust, but paint chips. In the 1980s this car had holes drilled in the frame and filled with oil. This was common practice at that time to prevent rust. I added pictures showing the drivers door. The rubber has dried in some areas. Also I put a small kit on the t-tops to keep the t-tops tight. Also, yesterday someone was trying out the car and the radiator sprung a leak somewhere. Car runs fine, but will need to be fixed if driving any distance. I can fix it, or I will drop the winning bid by $500 for you to take it as it. -Larry
