Built in Van Nuys Calif. Larger fire bird decal goes onto fenders. 6.6 Liter Olds 403 automatic trans and shaker hood scoop. Original WS-6 Suspension Special Performance Package, higher steering box ratio, w/ four wheel disc brakes and larger sway bars standard. Original turbo style rims, and mirrored T Tops in great condition. Power everything, power window, power door locks. power window ( switch need replacing). Windows work but occasionally must press switch tight. Looks as if the piece that squeezes switch is broke. Power brakes, power steering, power door locks, power trunk. All interior red dash lights work see photos, even the clock works. Does not have original stereo hence why someone removed the original power antenna. That original antenna is with the car. 64K original miles. Comes with 2 sets of keys.

All Y89 cars came equipped w/ the WS6 package. Car factory under coated Z coated.

Only 5683 mfg w/ the 403 Olds, and 1817 w/ the Pontiac 400.

The bad of this car: Only 1 known rust spot approx 1” on passenger rear quarter. The exterior is in great shape with a couple minor dings. The interior needs replacing, I removed carpets as they were shot, and wanted to take photos of the floors, top part of dash is cracked per photo. The rear floor pans directly under the rear seats need replacing. Car comes w/ those floor pans. you just need to install. Appears that section is where exhaust is, and may have not been undercoated (reason why that area rusted) Other then that this car needs exterior work due to these year cars having a clear coat issue. This trans am is the perfect restoration candidate. The driver door will not stay shut. I thought it was the striker bolt. I replaced that but appears the door latch assy needs replacing. I purchased the new assembly but do not want to install as I don't want to damage door panel. The new assembly will come with the car.

Silver leather, runs well, replaced fuel tank, fuel pump, new plugs, new wires, new distributor cap. Had to disconnect AC Compressor to install new fuel pump, but all is there AC worked prior to that. AC unit is in the trunk w/ Original Atenna as well. The Gas tank, sending unit, fuel filter replaced and all fuel lines blown out. Vacum hoses and air inlet valve replaced. Rochester M4MC 4BBL carb #17059253 needs a rebuild, and needs a new engine choke tube heater assy approx $50 item. Needs new fan belts as they do squeak at first. Radiator seems to be in good shape.

If you are familiar with this car you know the value, and the cost to restore. The interior of these cars are tough to find which makes the value of these cars greater then the standard trans am. I am not over stating what this car is, but I can tell you this car has minimal rust as noted. This car runs and drives, and you wont be disappointed. I purchased this car in hopes to restore completely, but have too many projects, and will sit indoor for many more years. Car has not been on road since 1993. Sold in as is condition.
