Up for auction is a very rare 1988 Fiero Formula with only 38k miles. The car is 100% stock and never modified. It is not perfect but is definitely a "drivable collector car" that will only increase in value. I doubt you can find another Fiero Formula in this condition at this price. 2.8L V6. Automatic. WS6 Suspension.
The car starts right up and idles smooth. It accelerates without hesitation. The transmission shifts great. It brakes firm without pulsation. The WS6 suspension is tight and the car handles great. No fluid leaks or smoke. The dual exhaust sounds great. The frame and floor are solid. Tires are about 50% worn. The headlight work properly.
The interior is outstanding. The carpets, seats, dash and trim are like new. The headliner is loose in a few small spots but does not sag. The 3rd brake light cover does not stay attached. The A/C does not work. No power options.
The paint is mostly glossy with minimal scratches. The clear coat is staring to peel on the spoiler and front bumper. The hood is faded in a couple spots and has a couple minor chips. The Formula decals are intact and in great shape. The passenger side door handle has been replaced and the door pillar Pontiac symbol has fallen out. The fuel door trim has some paint worn off. Some of the black body trim is loose or cracked.
The low mileage and Formula model designation are documented on Vehicle History reports. The car was in a minor accident in 2010, was professionally repaired has no issues as a result.
