1977 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:

The most desirable of all Trans Ams is the 1977 Hard Top, 6.6 liter, 4-speed manual, with the black on black color scheme. This is the model-year that led to the Smokey and the Bandit craze that swept America during the summer of 1977.
This all-original, gorgeous example, is one of the finest available. The under side of this car is as nice as the top side.
This true numbers matching car has the original WA code Pontiac 400 motor and matching close ratio 4-speed manual transmission, with original VIN's on both. This example has less than 68,000 original miles.
The original Build Sheet comes with the car.
A newly completed "better-than-original" repaint on the body brings the exterior to match the outstanding level of the original interior. It is truly amazing that the car's original interior shows almost no wear or age.
The gloss-black exterior and gold germanic-script Trans Am decal package was paired with custom snowflake wheels made specifically for this car. The wheels have the vintage-original look, but a custom flare that make the car absolutely "pop" aesthetically.
During repaint we couldn't resist adding the gold inserts around the headlights and gold dash bezel that makes this TA irresistible.
We went completely through this car. You could jump in it today and drive it from its home in AZ to New York. It's ready for it. We went through the heater and AC and it now works perfectly. We pulled the motor and went through it ensuring it was mechanically top-notch. We carefully detailed the motor and the engine bay and they look fantastic. Underneath we refurbished the entire bottom of the car, removing all but a slight amount of the original Ziebart coating, and then repainted the underside. We replaced all brackets, brake lines, fuel lines, sending unit, fuel tank, brake pads, shocks, bushings, springs, drive-shaft and exhaust system. This car is outstanding both in appearance and mechanical soundness.
Everything about the car, the stance, the amazing custom wheels and tires (almost $5K for those alone), and the rumble coming from the custom exhaust is "just right" and earns approving looks and a thumbs up from all passersby.
Add this gorgeous piece of Americana to your collection!
