1964 Pontiac GTO GTO Coupe Additional Info:

I didn't even take the DUST off....*Classic Barn Find* Up for sale for only the third time ever. 1964 Pontiac GTO coupe with 389 4 barrel motor and automatic transmission. In the car is a period-correct, date stamped 389 motor, and this sale also comes with the original matching numbers block, crank, and heads. Also included is a Tri-Power carb set-up.
This GTO was purchased for a Veteran as he returned stateside by his wife, as a welcome home present. He enjoyed the car but died only a few years later, and the car went into storage. It was purchased from the widow in the mid-90s, and driven for a few years with the transplant 389 motor in it. The trunk floor appears to have been replaced, as does the passenger floor pan. It is straight and very solid, and all interior parts appear to be original equipment. Panels are straight, glass and trim are in good condition. The original hub caps are in the trunk in good shape.
This is a great barn-find project, of one of the most legendary muscle cars of all time. Buy it now, and have it ready for Summer cruising!
