Up for auction is my very rare All Wheel Drive 1989 Pontiac 6000 STEwith less then 46K on the odometer—very lowfor a car of this age.Itwas garaged and well cared for inits priorsouthern climate, wherethis Pontiacspent most of its time.I brought the car home to the Midwest a little over a year ago, but due to space needs, I have decided that I needto let it go.
As far as I know, everythingworks in this car. TheAC may need a charge, but allits electronics and mechanics appear to be in working order. I'm unsure if it's supposed to or not, but the load leveler occasionally makes a noise. The mufflerwill sometimesmake a faint vibrationduring a turn, although itprobably just needs snugged up.As expected from a vehicle from the 80's, this caris not cosmetically perfect, because it has some surface scratches and door dings here and there.Accordingly, the side moldings and window weather stripping have some cracksdue to the dry southernclimatewhere this vehicle formerly resided, although you have to be pretty close to see these flaws. There's alsoa small hole in one of the fog lamps, but I may have a spare lens for it and will include it with the saleif I find it. The interior of this vehicle is in great condition, althoughupon close inspection, thereare a couple smallcracksnear theupperdash vents. These can only be seen if you're looking for them, and they're likely easy tofix if you find it necessary. I've tried to include photos of all these tiny flaws so you can see them for yourself. Although it has some minor imperfections, this Pontiac is a really nice car.
This 6000 STE runs strong and shifts smoothly as you would expect.Overall, it's a pretty decent car and a great example of one of these rare AWD Pontiacs.
This car is being sold as-is. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.Thank you for your interest.
