1967 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:

Every classic car has a story, some have been cruised up the PCH, others have been driven to church on Sunday's by some little old lady....this 1967 Firebird, has spent it's life just west of Fort Worth, TX. It was bought new, then sold 2 months later where it stayed with that owner as a second vehicleuntil 2016. The car's last registration sticker on the car was 1997, and the new sticker for 1998 was in the glove box. It was seen hiding in a garage, covered in boxes, begging for a second lease on life. This car is what is known as the secretary's special in the pony car era. 326 V8, with a 2 speed power glide, power steering and ac. While many people want a car that's been put together with pieces of mix matched cars to build the car of their dreams, this car is almost as close as you can get to the way it came off the line in 1967. Numbers matching, unmolested, waiting on you to make it your American dream. Yes the wheels are after market, but you'll get the factory rims, hubcaps, that have new tires with the car. 45231 on the odometer, I am not sure if it's turned once or not. There is some documentation with the car, but nothing to lead me either way.

Common questions on these cars, rust ? Yes, very little. A spot in the driver side rear quarter, as seen in the pictures. There is very minimal surface rust near the rearwindow trim. Again, surface and minimal.

Ever been painted? It was re-shot in the mid 80's the factory color due to some fading. It's not perfect but is cruiser friendly.

Electrical issues? Everything works as intended...yes, the dome light works too! Blinker switch works when held in the direction but won't stay.

AC works? Blows cold!

When pulled out of the garage the car received a tune up and once over including the following items. New carburetor, fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, electronic ignition, temperature gauge(monitorheatdue to the A/C in Texas), fluid change, starter, battery. It has logged about 1000 miles of cruising over the last few months.

Why would I sell such a fine piece of American car history, simple...selling this and my 1965 Shelby to start my next build. You all know car guys, we are only satisfied until we get the car of our dreams, then there is another waiting. The car is available to look at in Benbrook or Burleson, Texas, depending on where I have it at the time. Feel free to email with any questions. Buyer will be responsible for shipping and car will not be released until funds are verified. It is for sale locally, so it may before the end of the auction, once the reserve is hit, it will go to the eBay buyer!Reserve is set under the buy it now, so be prepared to buy once it's reached...Happy bidding!
