1974 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:

This is a 1974 Barracuda. It is a one owner car. The car has 78,416 original miles on the chassis. In 2008 I sent the car to get a restoration. The entire car was stripped and media blasted to bare metal. Many of the rusted areas were professionally repaired. These areas include a new trunk floor, new Goodmark trunk gutters, new Goodmark driver’s side quarter panel and inner quarter wheel wells. The car was then painted with primer and then given a one coat red paint job with clear coat mixed in to seal it. The bottom of the car is completely rust free and in very good condition. After media blasting and all the rust was blown away a few of the sheet metal parts were not completely repaired, however I made sure that everything was sealed. I took car of all major bodywork and the entire structure and unibody of the car is solid. The floors on the car are in excellent shape with no rust. This project can be completed with minor body work to the few areas needing attention.

The engine is a rebuilt Chrysler 1974 360ci small block. I installed an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, 600 cfm Holley Carburetor, Melling oil pump and pick up, Milodon oil pan, performance water pump, Pro Street harmonic balancer, March Performance Billet Aluminum pulleys and brackets, Holley Performance fuel pump, Performance black headers, RPC chrome valve covers, TCI 904 performance automatic transmission (rated up to 450HP), TCI flex plate.

The Original 318ci Engine is included if desired. Currently stored outdoors.

The hood, deck lid, front and rear valance, and header panel are rust free and have the same sealant and paint as the rest of the car. All glass is included and in good shape, windshield, back glass, driver and passenger window, and quarter windows. The car has the original 8 3/4" rear axle with a Mopar 3.91 ring and pinion gear set. Both front fenders are not included.Included is the front grill, both front and rear bumpers, original black interior, including door panels, all seats, center console.

I bought a lot of new aftermarket parts and they are included also. Every one of these parts on this list is brand new:

American Designer Gas tank and Gas tank straps

American Designer Gas sending unit

Power steering pump and gear box

Master cylinder

Modine radiator

Derale Performance economy electric cooling fan 16”

Painless full car wiring set

RPC chrome air cleaner with filter

RPC Valve Covers

RPC Breather

RPC Oil Dipstick

Mallory hyfire ignition control module. 6853M. 2017 series

Adjustable SSBC brake proportioning valve

Heater core

Carpet

Power steering pump and gear box

Master cylinder

All the panels in the interior are in good shape. The front bucket seats need new upholstery, and the dash pad has a crack in it.

Overall this is a great car to complete.

All the panels in the interior are in good shape. The front bucket seats need new upholstery, and the dash pad has a crack in it. The lower passenger quarter panel has a hole in it that I did not choose to fix when I sent it in for restoration. The media blasting took care of all the rust, but the hole was never repaired. This is the largest issue with the body of the car. It can be seen in the pictures above. Other than that the car has a few minor dings and a few other small areas around the rear bumper that need some light repair.

Overall this is a great car to complete.
