1967 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:

Here is my Rare 1967 Formula S Barracuda, a factory 4 Speed convertible with the S package.

Only 4200 convertible Barracuda’s were produced in 1967, and of those just a handful with the 273 Hi-Po Commando 4 barrel high Compression engine, and even fewer the 4 speed floor shift. The Formula S option package also added a heavy duty suspension, tachometer, Wide-Oval tires, and special emblems and trim.

NO RUST on this dry desert car; the photo’s I have posted on the picture link page show all around this car, including underneath and in the trunk.

I decoded the trim tag, and this is what I came up with:

Obviously the original RedLine tires are long gone, replaced with a vintage set of Cragars and white letter radials, but the rest of the car has all those options still in place. Correct original 4 speed, Chrysler’s own A-833, with the correct shifter. Correct original Carter AFB, and as you can see, the rest of the original engine HiPo parts.

This car has in addition, an amazingly fast operating power convertible top, a day nite mirror, a remote driver’s door mirror. Perhaps less than a handful left, this is one of the best. Please look at the extensive pictures on the link page below, in the auction terms section.

On Apr-28-16 at 19:23:26 PDT, seller added the following information:

And the best part of this auction? NO RESERVE! That’s right, the high bidder on Sunday May 8th wins this car! Don’t lose this great deal by bidding a few hundred too little, there are very few others for sale, and of those how many are this nice?

Many of the questions that have been sent in, can be answered by the pictures and descriptions on the picture page; the link to that is directly below this:

Please read the terms below carefully before bidding.

TERMS: PAYMENT BY CASHIERS CHECK OR BANK WIRE ONLY DURING 5 BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING END OF AUCTION. NO ESCROW OR ALTERATION OF THESE TERMS. Winning this auction is NOT an appointment to see it, or to ask questions after the fact. Please inspect it prior to bidding; your bid is a complete acceptance of these terms. This is a very nice survivor/driver-quality car, not a frame off restored vehicle. This car does have small imperfections, and shows the patina of a careful enthusiastic adult owner having driven it, not stored away in a museum.

I HAVE THE CLEAR TITLE IN MY HAND.

BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN A RATING OF 10 POSITIVE FEEDBACK NEED TO E-MAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING WITH A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER. I WILL CANCEL BIDS FROM BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN A 10 (TEN) POSITIVE FEEDBACK RATING, UNLESS YOU HAVE TALKED TO ME ON THE PHONE PRIOR TO BIDDING. DON’T BID IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE MONEY. DON’T BID IF YOU NEED TO GET A LOAN TO BUY THIS, AND YOU CAN’T GET IT COMPLETED IN 5 DAYS TO PAY ME ON TIME.

OF COURSE, COLLECTOR CAR SOLD AS-IS
