1957 Plymouth Belvedere Additional Info:

I am listing My 1957 Plymouth Belvedere PROJECT CAR.

Let me state this again. PROJECT CAR. Don’t ask me if I can fly in and drive this car HOME. YOU CANNOT

2 Door hardtops are highly sought after and are hard to find at a reasonable price.

This is the perfect candidate for the “drive while restore” new owner, or for the “Modified Builder”

Here are the details,

First the GOOD stuff.

Body is rust free. Glass is all good. Original 301 cu in V8 runs good. Has new starter motor, plugs, wires, oil change, and valve cover gaskets. Pushbutton Powerflight trans works good. Power steering. Has 4 brand new tires with wide white porta-a-walls. New brake master cylinder. New upper and lower Ball Joints, A-Arm Bushing, torsion bar and strut bushings. New front shocks. New black carpet kit

The NOT SO GOOD stuff:

Floorboards have rust. Previous owner did an amateur job covering with sheet metal. Truck pan has rust and should be replaced (see pics)

Frame is solid. This is a California Car so rust is from moisture leaking into the interior and trunk, NOT road salt.

Car had an awful rattle can paint job when I got it. I re painted with rattle cans. Looks much better but still not great. Though body is rust free has lots of dings and dents.

Needs Complete brake job. After installing new master cylinder and bleeding brakes they work, but wheel cylinders leaking. Emergency brake works.

Interior is there but needs re do.

Some lights work, some don’t, so electrical system needs attention. Generator is charging.

In conclusion, here is a project car for someone that has been looking for a 2 Door Hardtop that does not want to start with a complete rust bucket, or does not want to spend $25K and up.

The car starts, runs, drives and stops (barely).

With some minor repairs you can have a drivable 1957 Plymouth.

But please keep in mind, it is a project car that will need lots and lots depending on how far you want to take it.

I am trying to be up front so if it sells, the new owner will know exactly what they are getting. To that end, if you are seriously interested in my Plymouth, Please call me at (559)259-2069

Car is located in Clovis California zip code 93611

I have a clean California title in my name and one of the original Black and yellow license plates.

Car is sold AS IS / WHERE IS. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the new owner.

$1000 deposit due within 24 hours. Balance due within 7 days

I have videos of the car running and driving. Will try and add a link to the video.
