1968 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:

We built this car to have the character of the original BO29 1968 Hemi Cuda but something that drove and handled more like a new car that you could jump in and drive it a couple of hundred miles if you wanted. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! This car is a blast to drive. It has the power of the original BO29 cars but the handling and comfort of a new car. We started with a 29000 mile 98% rust free car and striped it down to bare metal on a rotisserie added custom frame connectors and started back with epoxy primer. All paint and material used on the car were PPG the best. For power it has a 489 Hemi with ported heads, indy intake,Comp solid lifter cam and fast 2.0 fuel injection. It dynoed at 637 HP with a 850 cfm carburetor. It should have more with fuel injection. It has a McCloud dual disc clutch with hydraulic linkage and Quick time bell housing with a Tremec 5 speed transmission with overdrive and a 9 inch rear end with traction lock and 4:10 ratio. The suspension all came from Reilly Motor sports and has AlterKtion front and Street-Lynx rear 4 link with coil over adjustable shocks and wilwood brakes on all 4 corners. For comfort and convenience it is well insulated and has custom SRT power reclining seats, power rack and pinion steering,AM FM CD with Blue tooth, keyless entry, Classic instruments with GPS speedometer, Vintage air conditioning and heater. It has a March Revolver serpentine accessory drive system with a over size Wizard radiator and fan system so there is no over heating problems. This car commands attention where ever it goes and really fun to drive BUT IS EXTREMELY FAST AND MUST BE DRIVEN CAREFULLY!! Engine and car was built by Jim Ballenger of Ballenger Power Bartlesville OK . TRADES WILL BE CONSIDERED
