1940 PLYMOUTH BUSINESS COUPE CHOP TOP

This is a true one-of-a-kind street rod that has NEVER been photographed for any publication nor has it showed at any small or large event, total fresh and not someones rehashed ride...make it your own!

The car truly speaks for itself with a fantastic slammed stance and perfect lines that make it look like a front page magazine ride. I will hit the highlights of the car and please feel free to mail me any questions you may have.

The body started with a 1940 Plymouth businessman's coupe and has been heavily reworked with a 3 inch chop in the front and 4 inch across the rear. Yes the body is raw steel and shows the insane body mods that were done and not covered up, to say this Plymouth has character is a understatement and yes the body is clear coated so it doesn't haze over. Glass is clear and both door windows function up and down fine. Hood and trunk open like factory and close solid with no vibrations. Doors open with hand held remote door actuators and shut perfect and latch tight. Headlights work perfect and are lined up correct, turn signals work and horns blow nice and loud.

Frame is from a 1996 Dodge Dakota in front, Monte Carlo rear end 274.1 gear ratio. Brand new brakes, calipers, rotors, and lines and power brake booster from a 1985 Monte Carlo. The car has a 1980 Monte Carlo tilt steering column.

Motor is a basic rebuild 1969 350 block with quadra jet and runs like a swiss clock, trans is a 350 rebuilt unit that shifts very smooth with no clunks or jerks. Motor stays cool with a new aluminum radiator.

Suspension is a 4 corner bag unit by Bagit and lifts and lowers the car with very fast recovery and no bleed off issues...very dependable and a great ride. Four corner switches and gauged controls are mounted in a custom console between the seats.

Let me tell you something....this without a doubt is one of the best running and riding bagged ride I have ever owned with a very very very dependable drive line and stability, no junk or safety issues. Be the next BAD ASS at ANY car show or cruisin' you go to, and nobody will say they knew the guy that previously owned it...nothing is a sad as someone saying "hey isn't that Bob's old ride??', make this one your own and get all the praise!

Clear title in hand.

JUST LOOK AT THE PICS, THE CAR MAKES A STATEMENT!
