1938 Packard Model 1608 Additional Info:

I'm a car collector. I have bought this car several months ago along with many others for restoration projects. I realized that I can't bring all of them into my shop and restore and decided to sell a couple of the extra cars.
This is a1938 PACKARD V12 Touring Sedan Model 1608. This car is very rare.Only 556 V12's has been made. I was very lucky to get it. Would have never sold if I hadn't had to. It's a 7 passenger car. It has jump seats in a divider. This car has been in California all its life, rust free. It has all the required parts. I'd say it is 99% complete. Engine freely turns and has all the necessary parts. I have not tried to start it, but am pretty sure it will start with the right mechanic. It has been stored inside a garage of another collector, who has only collected V12 Packards. It hasn't seen any rain. It still has original paint with very light surface rust. When I talked to the previous owner he said that the car ran before he put it into storage.
A few months ago and moved the car to a chrome plating company. I started the restoration and removed all chrome parts and already finished the chrome. Everything you don't see on the car - is the chrome, which I have and are sold with the car. They have been triple plated. If you need to see pictures - I can send them.
All emblems, hood ornament, moldings, hub cubs, tail lights, andinteriorwood trim is in good condition, but need restoration. It has the original steering wheel and it has absolutely no cracks. All gauges are intact.
If you need and extra pictures - just message me and I'll take them. Had very little time to take these.
The title was issued in 1974. And the last registration issued in California in August of 1978. I have the title on me.

Note: The only bad thing is that the roof needs fixing. The wood has dried and needs work.
Sorry - I had no time to clean the car. It's a project car.
