1986 Ford F-250 Additional Info:

This is a really comfortable, good driving truck. It has been my daily driver for more than 4 years and has given me great service. It has a hidden gooseneck ball in the bed and is wired for both 6pin round trailer connector and 7 pin round connector. Both sockets are wired for trailer brakes and trailer back-up lights. The air conditioning system has been replaced completely--every component. It has good cold air and the heater will run you out. The dash gauges are the worst part of this truck. I replaced the dash three different times and still have inaccurate fuel gauges, speedometer, and temperature gauge. The last may be the sending unit. Both fuel gauges show empty way before you are. I velcroed my Garmin over the speedo and now have dependable speed, mileage, and direction info. It has dual tanks and switches flawlessly between them. The following list is items replaced new in the last 20,000 miles. Complete air conditioning system, front springs and lift kit, 4 core aluminum radiator, water pump, fan clutch, fuel lift pump, both electric window motors and regulators, window channel seals dash cover and door panels, AM FM CD receiver/player, center link, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, trailer brake controller, glow plugs, injector line seals, and probably a bunch of other stuff I can't remember right now. It has a full set of Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires with 10/32nds or better tread. There is a spare tire not in the pictures that fits in a mount on the left front of the bed. The engine runs well. The transmission shifts well. The 4 wheel drive and lockouts work good. I just repainted it (amateur) and it needs to be buffed out. Because of its age there is no warranty or guaranties at all. I have described this truck as honestly as possible, but will be happy to respond to any questions you may have via email. I will also be happy to call you back if you want to email your phone number. That way we could actually talk like people did in olden times. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
