MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1967 Sunbeam Tiger Mark 1A Roadster. This is a true classic motorsport enthusiast’s vehicle! Finished in a dramatic deep blue metallic paint, his professionally finished and handsome Tiger shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Both the front and rear bumpers fit nicely and compliment the body.

The Sunbeam Tiger is a high-performance V-8 version of the British Rootes Group ‘s Sunbeam Alpine roadster, esigned in part by legendary American car designer and racing driver Carroll Shelby and produced from 1964 until 1967. Rootes also entered the Tiger in European rallies with some success, nd for two years it was the American Hot Rod Association’s national record holder on a quarter-mile drag strip.

Inside, he recently upholstered black vinyl front bucket seats, nd rear cargo compartment and all look great with no major signs of wear visible. The recently upholstered door panels compliment the rest of the interior as does dash which is padded and upholstered to match the rest of the interior, ll show beautifully. Paint and body are exceptional with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find.

This nicely appointed Sunbeam features a 289 Ford V-8 engine, barrel carburetor with aluminum highrise intake manifold, ord Toploader 4-speed manual transmission, achometer (inoperable), AT-8 Aluminum valve covers with “Tiger” lettering, AT-73 exhaust headers, eavy duty clutch, ew windshield and seal, ooden dash, ptional sun visors, mith gauges, runk sub floor and new starter solenoid. The Panasport style 14″ alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P600 tires create a very serious track look and even more road grip. This extremely good looking rebodied well equipped roadster will delight even the most discerning early sports car collector or enthusiast. Included with car is a highly detailed document book with production information as well as restoration and maintenance receipts.

Please Note: While we have not performed any work on the outstanding car, t is our understanding that the vehicle was “rebodied” by a senior Tiger club expert in the late 70’s or early 80″s, s told by the previous owner the car had resided in Canada since at least 1998. As we have repair records dating back to then, e do not have an official pedigree from STOA’s “TAC” program which verifies the vehicles authenticity.
