1956 Other Makes Austin A30 Additional Info:

You will not find another car this cool and fun to drive. RHD Austin A30 imported from New Zealand. A blast to scoot around town. A real head turner.
"Tillie" came into our family in 2007. I really enjoyed driving her around town, but now we have moved to a rural area and I don't seem to drive her much anymore. So it is time for her to move on to another owner that can enjoy her. She is a really nice driver, with a little work could be a show car.
Being from New Zealand, she is a solid car free from rust and rot that is normally found with British cars imported from England. Floor and trunk pans solid. The engine has been upgraded to the larger 1100 cc (normally found in the A35 model). Carburetor upgraded to Weber two barrel. The paint is in good condition, with some chips and crazing. No rust pops. Interior seats and carpet in very good condition, headliner replaced a few years ago. New tires in fall 2015. The trafficactors (flip out turn signals) work great - rare in these old cars. The door windows pull down (no cranks) and one of the pulls came delaminate, leaving small area with crazing on the window glass. Otherwise all glass in great condition. Lense on one interior light is cracked.
Mileage noted is as shown on odometer. Actual unknown.
Two questions I get allot. First - is RHD hard to drive in this country? It very easy to adjust to and a makes driving even more fun. Second, are parts difficult to find, which has not been a problem either. Plenty of speciality vendors, plus NAPA has many parts that I cross reference with other British cars of the era.
If you are looking for something different and fun - this is it!
