1961 Other Makes Morris Minor Additional Info:

This truck came from the southwest states (California and Arizona). It has been in dry storage while here in Iowa. It was in amazing condition, but I did a frame off restoration any way. I wanted to see and know about every defect and worn part. This is a partial list of all that was done.
(1) frame sand blasted
(2) rear end taken apart and the housing sand blasted
(3) seals and bearings installed
(4) Brakes rebuilt front and rear....everything right down to new crush washers
(5) Springs sand blasted and new bushings installed
(6) Front MG disc brakes... hubs totally rebuilt
(7) All moving parts to the steering system replaced
(8) MG transmission rebuilt
(9) MG 1275 engine was rebuilt in Arizona. I took it to the MG shop for inspection. Engine had maximum compression.... it needed a tune up and carburetor setting
(10) Body and related metal parts taken done to metal...dents hammered out, with a minimum amount of body filler used to smooth out the area. There was no rust to be found except in one area of the floor board. The body shop found maybe 8 holes the size of pencil lead, so I had them replace the floor metal completely with original after market panels.
(11) Cowl area was cleaned up of all the unsightly clutter of electrical parts and wires... all was moved to a housing located in the cargo area.
(12) New seats and door panels
((13) All window and body rubber or seals replaced
What needs to be done is easy to find after market parts from the UK
(1) new glove box inserts.. I have the 2 doors painted to match the dash
(2) new headliner
(3) new carpet
(4) Wheels are for a Vega and they have the wrong nuts that cause the wheel to be out of balance. I have the original steel wheels that have been sand blasted and primed.
I need to move on to other projects so have decided to sell for less money than to finish the interior. This is not a highway vehicle with the rear end gearing it has a 55-60 mph top speed.
Also it is a small vehicle so if you are tall or large framed you won't get in it... many have tried and failed.
