I am selling thisabsolutelystunning, veryrare, custom 1959 Oldsmobile 98 convertible for an elderly friend of mine. He bought this beautiful, rust free car from his best friend over 30 years ago and it has always been pampered and garage kept since new. This car was professionally built - sparing noexpense- by one of the best custom car builders around. The car was finally completed about eight years ago and is showing only minor imperfections.
The car has a beautiful, straight, rust free body - refinished in its original (paint code J-J) Frost Blue color. The underneath also looks fantastic. The trim has been removed andreplacedby customairbrushedpainted on trim. The door handles have been shaved and are now opened by electric poppers. The bumpers are coated in a metal flake finish. The interior is also amazing - finished in the same tri-color blue as it was when new.
The toplooksand operatesfantasticwith its deep blue haartzclothmaterial and its completely restored power top system. The power windows, power seats and power trunk also work great. The entiremechanicalsystem - from the original 394 cubic inch V8 engine and the Hydra-matic transmission to the suspension and brakes - have been completely rebuilt.
