1956 Oldsmobile 88 Rocket older resto

1956 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Additional Info:

Car runs well once warmed up, but idles nicely. Could probably use a tune up, car has been sitting off and on for about 3 years stored indoors. Will need brakes looked at, a little soft. Interior seats have normal use rips but are original coverings. Was originally owned by an older gentleman who was driving and restoring before selling. Trunk interior is very nice, maybe a newer kit. Headliner is nice. See pics, rockers are solid and clean, some rust bubbles here and there on lower fenders, doors etc. Older body work showing through drivers rear quarter panel, easy fix for a body person or leave and drive as is. Paint is dull in some areas, has scuffs, scratches and sand through here and there. Car was repainted at some point but looks to be original color combo. Prior owner put black stripe over roof trunk and hood. Its black Krylon and will come off will some elbow grease. Chrome is decent, front bumper is nice, rear is showing a little age but is presentable. Prior owner patched about 10" rust holes on drivers and passengers front floors, not how i would have done it, but patches do their job. After market floor pans are available, ive seen them on the net. Mileage is shown but im not sure if it has rolled or not, fyi. This car is a nice driver that needs a little tlc before getting back on the road.
