Know Issues / Disclosures:
Small Sticker of 2 blues brother guys on drivers side window post. Should be removable with the right goo gone or something but no promises.
Passenger side rear seat Ashtray cover is missing.
2 rips in front seat about 5 inches long, 1 on drivers side & 1 on passenger side.
Might need a new oil seal at some point "mechanic said", but said it was easy & normal and was not worried about it at all.
A couple spots were paint is starting to bubble at bottom by base/runner
Bumper & runner chrome is blistering/rusting a little (see pics)
Might have a shock/strut going out because once & a while it squeaks when bouncing.
Was told Hood might not be original, but came off another exact car & color, but matches well & has a 3 inch scratch.
Paint (Aspen Green) is original with some fading and chips/dings from age but in all good for age. Back right quarter panel has a 4 inch scratch by brake light. (See Pic)
Vinyl Black top is good but just barely starting to peal up at back trunk seam (See Picture)
Air cushions that are put in the springs in the back are non functional right now??? I guess you can put these in to make car rise up a little to look beefy.
Before I purchased car I took it to a mechanic and had it raised up to make sure things were fair and no rot or big rust holes. He said it looks pretty good and didn't see anything very bothersome.
Positive Aspects:
Runs great! Idles Great! Got good power.
Radio works, wipers & lights.
Gauges work and warning lights.
Interior is nice for its age. With back seat having cool stitching designs.
Good breaking and good acceleration.
New Battery & Nice tires
29,881 Original miles!!!!!!!!!!
Garage kept & winter stored
Note: This car was kept well maintained for the almost 50 years of its life and is enjoyable for whoever purchases it. It would be an amazing car to spice up or just to keep the way it is.
