This is one of the nicest ORIGINAL PAINT, Untouched Survivor, 1971 442'savailable inthe World! Born in Sunny Fremont, California. This California Blue Plate 1971442 Survivoris a TOPSHELF investment thatqualifies as a GOLDEN SURVIVOR!Still wearing its ORIGINAL SATURN GOLD Exteriorpaint & Desirable original Black interior, with many desirable options to follow!

Folks, the body is impressively solid considering its age and the fact that it's never been welded or restored being over 40 years old! The body and paint are essentially a best case scenario for an unrestoredreal "344 vin" 442 survivor.Super straight, pretty dry, and still displaying the original paint, stripes, and Patina! Make no mistake, it has its share of dings, scratches, and stone chips, as much from 40 plus years of life on Earth as from being driven over the 20 plus years it was in service.

Thanks to Mother Nature, this car has a Patina like no other 1971 442! The car recently came out of long term 20 plusyearindoor hibernationstorage while in the second owner’s possession. The odometer shows 51k miles; however, I believe it has turned over but you can be the judge. After some minorservicing wascompleted, and original carburetor rebuilt byone of the mostlegendary mechanics on theWest Coast, it now runs and drives good and soundsgreat. However, it will still need some basicwakeup work, i.e:inspect brakes, replace tires as the original Winston PolyGlass tires are decades old, I wouldchange all the fluids, along witha more complete safety check, prior to driving daily.Good news is, the electrical seems to be working, including the original key buzzer. It also still retains some of the original T3 headlights from when it was new.I was told the originalengine and transmission were rebuilt. This 1971 442 is one ofthe top ofthe line models for its time. It'sguaranteed to bea standout in any event orserious collector's stable.

Factory options include: Fremont, California manufacture date of March 1971, 442 package,455CI 340H/P,Turbo 400transmission, Console, tachometer, gauges,Rare FactoryAir Conditioning, Power steering, Factory tachometer, bucket seats, console, factory Hurst His & Hers dual gate shifter, factory comfort steering wheel, & more!

It hasthe kind of patina that makes you want to lock up and foam at the mouththe minute you lay your eyes on it. Tosay the least, itlooks superimpressive for being over 40 years old! Don't buy a restored one that you know nothing about; they are only original once like this one!

Good news is the car is reallydry, with alittle cancer at the bottom of the front fenders. It also hasminor cancer at the base of the driver’s rear quarterpanel. It has some minorcancer pin holeson the roof as the car once had a vinyl top, but nothing serious and this wouldbe easy to repair ifdesired. The undercarriage will surprise you with how clean and dry it is. This is your window of opportunity to purchase an extremely well-preserved, special, significant, and desirable 1971 Oldsmobile 442.It’s Guaranteed todraw a lot of respect from knowledgeable enthusiasts.

Theblackinterior is original and untouched since the day it was new. The front seats could use new covers and the headliner has some tears. However, the dashis in great condition; the rear seat, carpet and door panels are still original andlook good for being 40 plus years old.The more you look, the more this442will blow your mind.

Lastly, I’mhandling the sale for a closefriend who is an advanced collector of all types of cars and trucks, due to hislimited timeand busy schedule, we’re looking to pass this one to someone who will take it to the next level, Will you be the lucky new owner? Good luck and Happy Bidding!
