For sale is a REALLY NICE & VERY WELL preserved 1984 Nissan 300ZX... This car has been adult owned & operated since it was brand new. The same man has had the car for the last 30 years. Throughout the majority of that period he was a long time officer of the Boston Police Department. This car, for many years was his main personal form of transportation. During his career as a police office, ( "I understand" ) that he had at some point arrested a young kid in the community. Supposedly there encounter & him being arrested opened the kids eyes & he as a result turned his life around. In an effort to show a gesture of his appreciation for the officer having helped. The kid painted the car with the Green Chameleon Color Changing Metallic paint you still see on it today.
For the majority of the past 13 years, it has been sitting under a car cove, STORED in a warehouse outside of Indianapolis.
Aside from the custom pain, the car is VIRTUALLY UNMOLESTED. It is ENTIRELY ORIGINAL & ALMOST 99% COMPLETE. I guess he must have intended to replace the oringinal carpe, & possibly do some other upohlstery work at one time. As far as I can tel, the carpet is the ONLY thing that is missing. ALL of the interior part, piece, & panels are there. They were SIMPLY just taken off when he removed the carpet. EVERYTHING else looks to be in order & FULLY FUNCTIONAL ( power seat, power mirror, headlights . wiper, etc...The digital display on the instrument panel does not light up all the way. Other than tha, the car runs stron, shifts wel, drives straigh, & brakes hard. The week prior to listing it for sal, I put 6 NEW spark plugs in it & replaced the fuel filter. With the exception of the heavy wear & tear on the driverside seat upholster, it is a REALLY NIC, FULLY INTAC, WELL PRESERVED vehichle. I do have few odd & end parts that are not picture, but DO ALSO go with the car. = A couple of marker light, the fuse box cover that goes under the hoo, etc...
Although the car runs & drive, I would recommend having it tuned up due to the fact that it has been sitting for such a significant amount of time. Taking all of that into an overall consideratio, I am forced to sell this car AS-IS & "for parts-or-repair". The title is CLEAN & IN HAND.
