1991 Nissan Other Additional Info:

Hi thanks for looking. First off - I have a folder with lots more photos and a video. Please email me joel at kodiakcakes dot com and I'll reply with a link to the folder.
I imported this 1991 Nissan Safari (also known as a Patrol in other parts of the world) in March of this year. I am a car hobbyist. I keep a few interesting cars in my own collection for a while and then sell them. I have a list of unique cars that I want to own and a Safari/Patrol was on my list. If you don't know what a Safari is, it is Nissan's competitor to the Land Cruiser and they never sent them to the US. This is a tough one to sell. It's in such amazing shape and is really fun to drive. It is so rare to find a 25 year old car in all original condition this nice. Most have been restored or at least repainted or refurbished to some extent. I was blown away when I got it. If you've been looking for one of these, you'll love this. It has the 4.2 L diesel that runs great. Auto transmission, shifts smooth, good brakes, AC blows cold. It looks like this car had to have been garaged its whole life. No signs of paint fading, all shiny. Interior is excellent. Really big sun roof. Power windows/locks - all work. Everything works. The previous owner installed a DVD/back up camera and nav system. Factory WARN winch.
No tricks, no gimmicks. No inflating the bidding to make you think it's worth more than it is. This is why I do fixed price auctions. People get screwed in auctions because sellers love to falsely inflate the bidding. It even happened to me when I was new to ebay. Just an honest straight forward transaction for a fair price. I've been a car hobbyist for over 20 years. I've owned nearly 200 cars. It's a lot of fun. I only buy really great, low mileage cars that I can sell on with confidence and know that someone else is getting a great vehicle that will typically go up in value over time. I have no intent to screw someone over. This is just my hobby, which means I don't HAVE to have deals coming and going to make my living. That means I don't have to buy crappy vehicles to sell just to keep the cash flow going. I buy and sell 2 or 3 interesting vehicles per year and take my time when hunting for something.
Put your money into an asset that will go up in value over time and provide a ton of fun along the way. When you get ready to own something else, sell it on and get the next one.
Someone is going to love this Nissan!
