1990 Nissan 300ZX Additional Info:

Welcome to my auction. You're bidding on a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. This car was tuned and dyno'd at 472 wheel horsepower. It was tuned using the Apex'i Neo. The dyno sheet is in the pictures. This car is NOT for the faint of heart. Before listing any of the important details, I wanted to say that this is NOT a perfect car. It is 26 years old so please keep that in mind. I have owned this car for 5 and a half years and I'm only selling because the place I'm moving to doesn't allow me enough room to house it. This is literally the most reliable car I ever owned. It has never left me stranded during my ownership. All of the mechanical work on the car was performed by a Nissan master mechanic. The car turns heads, gets thumbs up, gets compliments and even cash offers just about every time I bring it out. Three years ago, the motor was pulled a total of four times to ensure the car was running excellent. This was originally an aztec red car. The previous owner decided to paint it the factory gold color (ej0). Two and a half years ago, I decided to paint it san marino blue. Everything was painted except the engine bay. I planned on pulling the motor this summer but my move intervened with that. I'd say the paint is an 8/10 and the interior is a 7/10. The exterior has some scuffs/scratches/blemishes but nothing to take away from the beauty of the car. The interior has the original leather seats that show some cracking and rubbing from the past 26 years of use. The dash and the rest of the components are in good to very good shape. The car runs excellent. After it's warm, it idles at 750 all day long. It will boost to 18PSi without a hiccup. Note: The odometer shows 105,269 miles which is incorrect. It stopped completely after my first year of ownership. Since then, I kept track via GPS on the mileage. The mileage listed in the auction is the true mileage. If you wish to fix the odometer, it will need a speed sensor. I had no intentions to sell and that's why I never had it replaced. The car is not currently inspected because it was only driven in the summer time (But it was still started weekly). Here is the recent maintenance list from the top of my head:
  • JDM Motor with ~47k

  • 120k Kit (Timing belt, timing belt tensioner, camshaft oil seals, crankshaft oil seal, vtc springs, water pump, thermostat, coolant bypass hoses, crankshaft timing sprocket, upper and lower timing belt idler pulleys, all drive belts)

  • >New t-top moldings

  • Jumper harness

  • Starter

  • Wiring harness

  • 4-wheel alignment

  • Brake pads

  • Cross slotted/drilled rotors

  • Oil change (Every 3k miles)

  • Upper radiator hose

  • Clutch slave cylinder

  • Tail light sensor

  • New (less than 300 miles) 275/35/18 rear tires

  • New Duralast Gold battery

  • As of right now, the only mechanical issue is the following: Transmission has the typical 4th gear grind (doesn't happen every time) but goes into gear just fine. If you're looking for a rock solid car that you could daily drive if you wanted to, this is the car. The following have been REMOVED by the previous owner (mainly for weight reasons): HICAs, ABS, front & rear windshield wipers/motor/reservoir. The previous owner also had the rear power antenna (which always fails) shaved when he had it painted. It looks much cleaner on the car. The battery was also relocated to the truck to free up some space. Here is the mod list for the car:

  • Z1 GT675RS (GT2860RS) turbos

  • Z1 sidemount intercoolers

  • That is pretty much everything that I can think of in regards to the car. I truly do NOT want to sell it but am being forced to. A couple things to conclude with -- Please do NOT bid on the car unless you have cash in hand or have been approved for a loan BEFORE the auctions end. I work full time but can schedule you to look at the car in person if you'd like. No joy rides allowed. If you're a legitimate bidder, I will gladly offer rides. Local pickups are preferred but will ship the car as long as the BUYER arranges the shipment and the payment has cleared. A $500 deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours of the auctions end. This is NON-REFUNDABLE but will go towards the final selling price of the car. The remaining payment is due within 72 hours of the auctions end. The car is being offered at no reserve so the highest bidder will win regardless of the selling price. Last but not least, the title does have a lien on it for a measly $400 that I have left on a personal loan (I used the title as collateral). The company is local to my hometown so we can get it situated in a timely manner and I'll sign the title over to you. If you have any legitimate questions, feel free to call me at 267.772.7656 or email me through eBay's messaging system -- my name is Dan. Thanks for checking out my auction and happy bidding!

On May-28-16 at 06:18:06 PDT, seller added the following information:

There are a few things that I wanted to mention that I didn't think of until now. First of all, there is a spelling error in the original description. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, not truck. Second, the car also comes with a Greddy Turbo Timer which is installed in the OEM clock location on the bottom of the radio bezel. Third, the car has a fairly new (within the last year) head unit that has an aux port and works well with the rest of the stereo system. Finally, I forgot to mention that the e-brake doesn't work the best. It will park the car on a flat surface just fine but the pads will need to be replaced (and the handle adjusted) to make it work properly. I always left the car in gear so it wasn't a big deal for me but I wanted to mention it. If the buyer is interested, I also have a brand new shift knob, shift boot, ebrake handle and ebrake boot that are black with red stitching. Those will be available if you want to add $120 on top of the price of the car.
