1986 Nissan Pulsar NX 2dr coupe
Very clean, original condition California car with only 57,047 original miles. Original down to the radio. I have owned the car for about a year and have put about 500 miles on it. Runs and drives great. Cool 80's boxy styling with pop up headlights.
Two owner out of San Diego, CA. The California title is clean and clear. AutoCheck shows two owners and zero accidents. The AutoCheck documents show multiple recordings of the mileage to show that the miles truly are accurate.
The majority of the original features still work great. A/C blows cold. Heater is nice and hot and the level selector switches from defrost, vent and floor as it should. Wipers work. Clock works and keeps time. Original radio works as well. The speakers are most likely original and work but do crackle a bit. Seats look great for their age with no rips and tears. The carpet is decent with some stains here and there. Head liner is good as well. Has a sun roof that opens to vent or can be removed completely for open air cruising. There is a cover in the truck with the sunshade as well. The dash is nice with one small crack starting on the passenger side corner above the glove box. Gas and temp gauge operate as well. The speedometer works up to about 45-50 miles per hour but then the needle gets hung up on the face of the cluster beyond 50 mph. You can see where it has been rubbing. The odometer turns as it should. The manual windows go up and down and the rear windows vent open. The lights all work. Has the neat pop up head lights that function well. Owners manual is still in glove box.
The car starts right up when it is warm outside. It is carbureted so when it is cold out side you will need to pump the gas and let it warm up before you drive away. The transmission shifts into all its gears with ease. The engine runs strong and sounds like it should with no knocking. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car any distance. No major leaks but it is over 30 years old and it will drip on the ground a bit but nothing excessive. When I purchased the car I did a wheel bearing on it and replaced some of the exhaust pipe and muffler.
The body is very solid for its age. No visible rust on the exterior. It looks like it was repainted at one time. The red paint is now faded but you rub it with your figure and the shine comes back. With some time and elbow grease you could bring back the luster of the paint. There is a dent on the front hood. It opens and shuts fine. One of the front vents on the hood was damaged when the dent occurred but it is in the glove box. You could hammer out the hood if you wanted to. Original set of hub caps. The front two hub caps have curb rash. The tires match and have a good about of tread left. All the glass is good. The windshield does have a moon chip or two but nothing cracking.
The truck is clean and has the spare, jack and tools.
All in all a solid, neat car that could be cruised and you'd be the only one with one. Remember, it is an older small car from the 80's. It runs, sounds and drives like one. It isn't perfect but its very solid for its age.
