This car was legally imported under the 25-year rule. I have copies of all import paperwork (Export Certificate, US CBP, EPA, etc.). It is titled, registered, and insured legally and comes with a clean title (in hand). Nothing shady, everything is 100% legal.
The car had 1 owner in Japan and I am the only owner since it was imported. I have cared for it meticulously and it seems that the owner in Japan did the same. Some evidence suggests that the car has been parked indoors most or all of its life. I can go over some of my assumptions with you if you’re interested. I have owned the car since 10/31/2015.
I have documentation all the way back to the beginning of the car’s life in Japan in 1990. Service records and inspection records show incremental mileage progression. Following is a brief summary of what service records show (in KILOMETERS, not miles):
DateKM12/1/19901,1686/26/19936,7124/21/19947,3386/15/199515,8926/17/199719,6216/23/199922,5586/25/200125,8707/2/20030(Document smudged, mileage unreadable)7/3/200532,3727/16/200735,4297/30/200938,0437/21/201139,9817/18/201355,296--Imported to the US--10/31/201564,69012/3/201566,2476/20/201670,110
Since arriving in the US, I’ve had maintenance performed on basically everything maintainable using ONLY Nissan OEM parts, unless otherwise specified. Some key points below:
11/5/2015Replace Battery (not OEM)
12/3/2015 – 66,247 kmReplace Timing BeltReplace Power Steering BeltReplace Accessory BeltReplace Crankshaft SealsReplace Water PumpReplace All Pulleys and TensionerBrake FlushPower Steering FlushTransmission FlushDifferential fluids changedOil ChangeCoolant FlushReplace Fuel FilterReplace Spark Plugs
4/6/2016 – 69,120 kmReplace speedometer cable (common problem in R32)
6/20/2016 – 70,110 kmChange Oil
6/21/2016 – 70,185 kmReplace CV Boot (Driver’s side, Front, Inner)
6/24/2016 – 70,375Replace Tie Rod End (Driver’s side, Outer)
7/18/2016Replace all four Brake Pads and Rotors (not OEM parts)
Again, all above services used only OEM parts, unless otherwise specified. I have a ton of receipts for parts purchases.
The car is completely stock except for wheels and radio. I don’t have the stock wheels or radio.
There is no rust on the car.
Things I’ve changed/added since I’ve had the car:
  • Window Tint, 3M Nano Carbon 35% all around, Lifetime Warranty (1/20/2016)
  • Replaced all four speakers. The OEM ones were dying, I still have them and they will come with the car (11/17/2015)
  • Kenwood Bluetooth Receiver KMM-BT312U (11/3/2015)
  • Cusco side mounted license plate bracket
  • Mine's springs with Bilstein shocks (I have OEM suspension and will provide with sale)

Bad Stuff:
  • Front passenger side quarter panel looks like it’s been repainted. I don’t have any more information about this, it came from Japan this way.
  • Small dash bubble. It’s a common problem in the R32, but the bubble on this car is much smaller than most others.
  • There’s some paint peeling on the “leg” (riser?) of the OEM rear wing.
The car is very clean. It’s very healthy mechanically and the physical condition is definitely above average. It will come with either OEM R34 wheels (pictured) or genuine BBS LM wheels, buyer’s choice, does not affect price. Everything works as it should. A/C is cold, heater is hot. No smoke from the exhaust. Everything is as it should be.
