This 1992 Mini John Cooper Works Classic was imported to Canada from Japan in 2007. Originally RHD, it was converted to LHD. It was refitted and built as an Autocross racer, winning three Canadian Class Championships in 2011, 2013 and 2015. It was WCMA Divison Champion in 2014 and 2015; and the Alberta Regional Class Champion from 2009 through 2015. This car has been fine-tuned over a 10 year period at a cost of over $70,000 to keep it consistently in the winner's circle. It is also STREET LEGAL, for the best of both worlds.

RUST-FREE car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in correct classic Cooper Red with White roof and hood stripes.
All new door and window seals.
Carbon fibre hood with dzus fasteners.

Alden Yellow Dizzy distributor with Pertronix ignition and Pertronix adjustable rev limiter.
5″ diameter underdrive alternator pulley.
MSD ignition wires and caps.
New oil pump.
Radtec large core aluminum radiator.
Aluminum engine plate.
2 lower and 1 upper engine steady.
Extra crankcase and valve cover breathers and external aluminum catch tank.
Silicon heater and radiator hoses.
Electric fuel pump and Filter King fuel pressure regulator.
Engine totally refreshed at 31,000 km (19,260 miles) including new seats and gaskets.
Recently tuned by a racing MINI expert.

Quaiffe straight cut close ratio gear set.
Swiftune roller bearing drop gear set.
Swiftune lay shaft, crown and pinion (straight cut) with 3.9 final drive.
TranX Mark 6 LSD (90% locker) – newest version of TranX with no preload which makes low speed turning easy and little torque steer.
Aluminum front hub and flanges, aluminum rear hubs.
Revolution 10”x6” wheels with near new Yokohama A032 tires.


Brakes:
MiniSport alloy 4 pot 7.9” calipers and 7.9” solid rotors.
Mintex competition pads with approx 3/4 left.
Goodridge stainless brake lines.

AVO alloy body shocks – dual adjust fronts and single adjust rears – all heim jointed.
