1967 Mini Classic Mini MK1 Mini Cooper S Additional Info:

One of a kind & this car was the Winner of the Mini Meet East, Personal Choice Award for MK1, 2016! This car has been in the family for over 40 years. It was built in England (all the plates match and have the British MotorIndustryHeritage Trust framed for the new owner). It went to Germany for a few years and brought over in the late 60's to the U.S.A. Two owners had it before my brothers bought it in 1973. I took it over in the late '80's. This car has always been in the South and very seldom driven in the rain or snow. So, it's solid and has no rust. The underside looks as good as the outside. The motor runs strong and transmission have been completely gone through (2016) less than 3K miles ago. I've havemaintained by changing out the fluids and useEthanolfree 91+ fuel. It is a verydear car to me and I hate to let it go, buthave a business venture I want to pursue. Like to see someone enjoy it as much as I have...definitelya head turner and good luck getting away from the gas station or grocery store in a hurry...:)
I have completely restored it from ground up, not sparing any expense and touched just about every bolt in this car. My mission was to make the 'BEST' Cooper S possible, using today's upgraded parts, technology and much help from no only my own experience but many others! Being a '67 Cooper S, and the history of this vintage car, I felt the value will only go up and worth the investment. Just wanted to do what it takes to do it 'Right'. The car was taken down to bare metal and painted blue/white with white bonnet strips in 2006. The white top has a Union Jack Flag (decal). The rocker panels & floor boards where replaced at that time. The paint is great shape with a few chips from the highway. I covered those up with bullet hole decals:). Added character anddefinitelya conversation piece. They can be fixed easily if necessary. This Mini has a 1967Morris Mini Cooper S motor, a 1275 (.060 oversize) w/ the 'S' head. Rebuilt this year by Heritage Garage in Costa Mesa, CA. (Summer 2016). I have broken down the list below of all items to make it easy to see. I think the list will speak for itself and makes it one of a kind. Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have any questions.
