1970 MGB with hardtop

1970 MG MGB Additional Info:

Up for sale is a 1970 MGB with hardtop. This is the only year for the split rear bumper. The car was stripped to bare metal and rust repaired this year. A full drivers side floor pan and partial passenger floor pan were installed. Seam sealer and undercoating were then applied. Photos are available of the car throughout the process before paint was applied. Slight modifications were done to the exterior including side turn signal and radio antennae deletion. The rear wheel arches were raised to match the front and improve the stance. The car was sprayed in single stage white urethane to give it a period correct finish. Not every ding/small dent was addressed before painting, so some imperfections exist, but overall a very nice paint job. Door jambs, under hood, and trunk have all been refinished. A Moss Motors repaint weatherstrip kit was then installed. NOS tail lights and new reverse lights were installed. The original chrome bumpers show some wea, but are still in good condition. The trunk lock cylinder has a damaged slide cover, but functions as normal. The hard top received new paint as well. It is a California snug top with a removable sunroof. The car does not have a convertible top installed, but the frame will be included in the sale. Freshly upholstered Miata seats with built in headrest speakers were installed. Original seat frames are available and will be included with the sale. Radio is am/fm/usb with aux. New carpet, new door panels and trim panels. Freshly leather wrapped steering wheel. Original wheels have been painted and the original spare wheel and jack are present. Tires are in excellent condition.The windshield has a few chips and a light wiper scratch. It also shows some hazing on the bottom portion from age. New radiator, new belt, new spark plugs, new plug wires, and new K&N filters. Runs and drives well. Slight exhaust leak is present. Engine has good oil pressure and compression test shows good, even compression and no leak down. Shifting is smooth and clutch engagement is good. This is a non overdrive model. Currently the speedometer is not working, but I have a replacement part on order to correct this. All other gauges and lights work. Feel free to ask questions or schedule to view in person.
