1977 MG MGB Additional Info:

1977 MGB Mk IV Roadster---Very nice rust-free example that spent over 20 yrs. in Georgia before coming to Ohio. Since coming north it has been stored winters in my heated garage. The “B” wears an older repaint, in the original Glacier White. And a black grained top with zip out rear window.

Yes, all the electrics work. No, there are no electrical issues. None.

The car is powered by a NMN 1800 CC engine that has been professionally fully rebuilt to pre-emission specifications. It features twin SU carburetors, a “mild road” camshaft and an aluminum valve cover. It is cooled by 13-row engine oil cooler with braided stainless-steel lines. (Yes, the oil pressure is good) The car also has the AC Delco 60A alternator conversion. The transmission was rebuilt and resealed, u joints replaced, and the rear end serviced. Newer exhaust system and fuel pump.

The suspension has been lowered to pre-1975 ride height. Minilite style road wheels with new H rated low profile Kumho tires. Rear brake drums are powder coated black. All the suspension components are good and tight including the king pins. The shocks have performance valving. The car handles very well.

The interior is original black. The Dash, console, sun visors, door cards, carpet and top are nice. The seats show some wear and tear with several small tears and blemishes. The Trunk had a full deluxe carpet kit, spare tire cover, original Jack, handle, and wheel chock. The odometer always reads 37.727. TMU

The car has a 4 PT. roll bar, three spoke “Limited” sport steering wheel and wood shift knob. A period correct SW gauge was added to the console. Original optional luggage rack. Twin piston hood struts. This rust-free example is very quick and a blast to drive.

Car comes with partial service records going back to 1999, Original bill of sale and the original window sticker!

The stainless rocker moldings were probably added around the time of the respray. They are decorative and not a cover up. Please refer to the photos of the bottom of the car, the rocker panel area, and pinch rails. Underside photos are provided in the gallery.

Delivery of the car within a 150-mile radius of Metro Cleveland OH, after the car has been paid for, can be arranged.

Thanks for looking at my MGB
