This MG TC (Chassis # TC0630, built April 1946)received a comprehensive restoration to a high standard of quality and originality in 2015. Nothing was left undone to make this a visual knockout and a great driving car. Just enough miles on the car since restoration to thoroughly debug.
The rebuilt engine (a BMC factory replacement) runs smooth and strong with plenty of power. Gearbox shifts crisply. Brakes stop the car smooth and straight. I have personally driven this car and it drives and handles beautifully.
All sheet metal was stripped, repaired, and repainted. Body tub is new, made by Steve Gilbert. Body fit up is very good, the doors hang and close properly. Original steering wheel restored by Ben Cordsen.All chrome replated and trim polished.Gorgeous red leather upholstery (Moss kit) looks great. All gauges and lights work. New Optima battery. New correct top and tonneau cover. Original side curtain frames and kit included (but not completed). Correct, original 48-spoke wire wheels wrapped by excellent tires. Ready for the road. Drive anywhere in confidence and style.
