1959 MG MGA Additional Info:

1959 MGA 1500 coupe red -black leather 65,000 miles 3 owners since new. Original engine-transmission. 3.9 rear gear (for hiway driving). Never driven in the rain, stored indoors. Body excellent. Older very nice repaint, original very nice chrome. New Michelin rear tires on 60 spoke wheels. Older fronts on 48 spoke. 4 speed manual. Very nice driver quality car. To be fair, the drivetrain has 65,000 miles on it so the the engine compression is 100 to 105 psi and the gearbox synchronizers are showing signs of wear. All in all though if driven sanely, a pleasure to drive. Correct colors. Only 1000 coupes built in 59. How many have you seen lately? Newer brakes. New single 12 volt battery.NAMGAR registered. Come to Swartz Creek MI and drive it. Pictures don’t do it justice. Many books and receipts come with car.
