Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this desirable MGA 1600. This car appears to have lived in California for all of it's life and has an amazingly solid and completely rustfree body and chassis.This car appears to have left the factory in Olde English White with black trim, a lovely crisp color scheme, especially with disc wheels. The straightness of body on this car is average to decent overall, but has sustained some repairable damage at one point to the front of the car. The car would most likely need the cross-x / lower panel replaced and a few other pieces straightened / repaired, along with a new grille. Panel fit is good with nice fitting doors. The car still retains it's very solid original outer rockers, bottoms of front and rear fenders, and is nice in the fact that its been pretty untouched, off the road for the last 36 years !The car's interior is fairly original and complete. The windshield is good. The car is fitted with a very desirable Halibrand period wood/alloy steering wheel, that would look beautiful restored. The car includes the correct instruments, seats, soft top frame, sidecurtain set, AM radio, sidecurtain stowage bag, battery cover, spare wheel bag, etc.The car is currently fitted with a complete 1500cc engine, but also provided along with the car is the correct 1600cc unit, disassembled, but not 100% complete. One would be wise to rebuild the 1600 engine and install that for the next restoration...Overall, a completely and amazingly solid MGA 1600 Roadster for restoration. The bodywork will require some straightening, but there is no rust repair needed, with the car retaining all of it's original 100% sheetmetal.
