Here is a rare opportunity to buy a very nice driver conditionvery rare , 1949 MG TC EXU model, engine number xpag9323which is matching. The current owner has had it for only a few years, last owner had it since the early sixties. This is not a showcar like a lot of these MG TCs but is also not 40 to 65k price. Only 494 of these were built. This TC was always garaged and lovingly cared for. The current owner would sure like it to go a good home which it does deserve. Paint is in overall good condition since the paint is almost 60 years old, with a few nicks, some paint fading on the driver's door, which is great patina in my opinion. No body damage or rust. Wood looks to be in nice condition, although driver's door will need to be tightened or new hinges. The car starts and runs nice. Tranny goes in all gears but does have some noise. Top, tonnoue and top boot, and side curtains are nice black canvas. Comes with 6 19-inch chrome wires also in great condition. A full set of new original type Dunlop bias ply tires - 1 of the spares are the original all others have less than 1000 miles. Comes with a few spare parts.Also the original front and rear bumpers,and original headlight lucas lenses -very rare. Comes with the original owner's handbook and parts manual. Most of these in perfect condition are in the 45 to 65k range. I would buy this one and just drive it.
