Up for your consideration is my 1949 Mercury unmolested Old School Kustom ... you don't find them like this anymore.
**Very rare removable Carson hard-top convertible**Flathead V8 with dual carbs**Air shocks with on board compressor and dash switch**Tuck and roll upholstery**Tilt wheel steering**Vented hood**3 speed manualtransmission (on the floor)
This car is awesome and has pulled off awards and recognition over Merc's worth 2x the money ... not because it's perfect or is a "better" car, but because it's a time capsule / survivor that has been well preserved as well as maintaining it's Flathead V8 roots.
Tuck and Roll interior is in great shape with no tears. New custom cut and professional installed carpet last summer. New battery in 2017. Car starts right up and drives well. Car hasalways been stored indoors in climate controlled garage. No rust or rot.
Always a show favorite for theyoung and old. This car always draws a crowd and getsthumbs up rolling down the road. The car was owned and built by a gentleman from Salt LakeCity back in the '70's and waspart of the "Jesters" Car Club, SLC. The car is a great example of atrue "oldskool" build that has stood the test of time. So far as Kustoms go I suppose this would be considered a "survivor".

I've loved this car but time to sell a few toys and finish other projects.

I'LL CONSIDER TRADES OF EQUAL VALUE OR LESSER VALUE PLUS CASH. NOT INTERESTED IN MOTORCYCLES. THANKS!

Housekeeping:Please ask all questions, have funds in place, and permission (if needed, haha) BEFORE bidding. It takes a lot of time and money to list on ebay and I don't want to waste my, or anyone elses, time. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I'm willing to help on my end to make sure all goes well with your transport at pick up time. Car is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. I'm not a dealer. I've described the vehicle as straight forwardly as I can. I'm willing to discuss the car on the phone with serious buyers, simply email me your phone number and I will call you. I'll consider ending the aution early if you would like to make an offer that's good for both of us. Good Luck !!
