1973 Mercury Cougar xr7 Additional Info:

this is my 1973 mercury cougar that I purchased to restore but plans changed so I have to sell it. This car was sitting in a garage untouched since 1982 see inspection sticker picture. The guy I got it from found the car,purchased it,removed the interior,had the drivers side front floor replaced,had a few patches welded in drivers side torque box etc.,then purchased new carpet,new door sill plates and more then had the interior put back together it looks really nice but not absolutely perfect.He also put mag wheels and rwl tires on it.This car is a real XR7 and has many options like power disc brakes power steering a/c factory tach and gauges and even factory tilt steering wheel with rim blow horn. (a used tilt mustang or cougar 71-73 setup costs around 750.00 or more used). I purchased the car and pulled the transmission out and started to take the engine out to rebuild them but thats as far as I got. All the glass is good it steers fine and the brakes work. I have about 2500.00 in it but I must sell it so I am starting the bidding at only 1000.00 with no reserve.
