1966 Mercury Other Additional Info:

A very good hello to all the Classic and Antique car lovers viewing this car,

This is a 1966 Mercury Park Lane 2dr fastback. Car was originally white with a Burgandy Interior. It has a 410 CID FE Marauder engine with a C6 automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, power windows and a power front seat. Differential gear ratio is not known. The body is mostly solid except for the hood. Grill and headlights are missing. The engine was dissasembled by owner before whom I bought it off of. The intake manifold, carburetor, cam, lifters, harmonic balancer and oil pan are not there. All of the missing items were missing when I bought the car. Unfortunately none was disclosed so I am giving as much info as I can. All can be replaced with aftermarket parts. The crank, pistons, rods, flex plate and complete heads, valve covers and original 4 BBL air cleaner are there for the engine. This engine can be rebuilt. Transmission is intact but the torque convertor is gone. Drive shaft is there. There are parts from the car and for the car in the trunk. What is missing or needs to be replaced is just too much to be listed. Most of the trim is with the car and lying on the back seat. The windshield is gone but all other glass is intact. The VIN tag, Keys and title will be given at time of pick up in the same envelope. 3 of the keys are the original 1966 keys. Hubcaps are the original stainless steel factory issued. The dash pad is in bad shape as you can see in the pictures. Do not mistake the car as being a Marauder model. All Mercury big block engines in 1966 were labeled as Marauders. The actual Marauder was a sub model of the park Lane with a 428 and manual trans. There are a lot of small parts missing but with any old project car that is to be expected. This car has a lot of potential and a good project car. I would have kept it but I have more to do than I need. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. There is no such thing as a stupid question.
