Selling my fabulous 1990 Mercury Cougar XR 7. I have enjoyed this cat over the pastfive years, and is now time to sell. Paint is in good condition (always hand washed) with the usual dings of 27 years. Always garage kept. Includes shop manual, and misc. 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly but is a little notchy going into 1st gear when cold.AC is nice and cold, retrofitted to R134A in 2012. Tires are BF Goodrich 245/50/16.If you are not sure about something, please ask!
This XR 7 is a great driving car, corners beautifully with it's IRS, and rides superbly. The windows are lightly tinted on the sides, darker in back, replaced the original radio (included) with a Pioneer unit that has Bluetooth, CD, and USB port. It has some of the normal wear for a 27 year old vehicle, has one little indent below the antenna mast. Also installed a dual 12V (fused) outlet on passenger side of console, in dash outlet not working - along with a cup holder. Power mirrors do not work, door keypad works most of the time, think it's a grounding issue. Please look over the photos carefully, and ask any questions before bidding.
