1978 Mercury Grand Marquis Additional Info:

Hello selling a 78 grand marquis with a 460. It has 47k original miles. Has been in same family since new. Only title transfer due passing away many years ago. Has sat in garage for past 20 years. Was recently pulled out fuel drained and replaced with new. Also new battery. It fired up on the first crank with zero problems. It is all original down to the spark plug wires that are dated. I did do clay bar, compound, and wax on the car and turned out great. There is a spot on hood that didn't cooperate due to a box being on it for past 2 decades and something inside it spilled out. Will post pic. I'm not a professional detailed either so perhaps someone with correct buffers and what not may do better. There is some surface spots of rust (very small) on skirts. Underneath car has only surface rust no rot. It was rust proofed back in 78. As for the rest of body it's in great shape one very small ding on front driver side quarter and small dent on front bumper corner. Very small 3 or 4 scratches on rest of body. Overall great condition. The original spare and Jack in trunk never used and few spare parts that are new in the trunk. There's a ac compressor as well in the trunk not sure if it was going to be replaced or already replaced. There is no belt on ac compressor on engine now. Will all go as part of sale. Interior is great no rips or tears. Passenger window not working. You can hear motor but no up down function. Everything else working and has power everything. There's a chance radio cable under dash but no cb radio. The tires dated back to 1990. Brakes work and never seized but do pulsate when braking. My guess front rotors need to be resurfaced. Radiator dripped a bit a few days ago. If repair needed could be soldered as it is copper/brass radiator.
