1968 Mercury Cougar Additional Info:

Original, Numbers Matching Motor & Transmission, 1968 Mercury Cougar 302 W/351 heads. Motor has been completely rebuilt. Shiny new and sweet. Motor alone is worth $$$$$! Car was a complete running vehicle that sat for a long time. Was dismantled in 2015 to be painted and never put back together. All the parts are there. Paint job is not spectacular and needs to be redone. Glass is intact and in good condition. I have replacement interior carpet and new dash cover in the box. Interior has that fresh dead mice smell! Needs patches in trunk and passenger front floor - interior plate is rusted but under plate is in better shape but has hole. Body needs a thorough once over. That's not to say it's in bad shape! The body and frame are mostly solid. Under doors and body are not rotted off. And the frame is solid except for a frame support on the front driver's side. All I'm saying is It needs a body off the frame restoration and this will be one fine high dollar car!!! Must sell due to divorce. Great project for Dad and son or daughter. Please feel free to ask questions!
This car was purchased by my friend's son in Florida in 1997. He drove it home to CT and hit a deer just as he got home. He parked it in a carport. Replaced the front left quarter panel and possibly the rear. Spray a coat of primer on it and covered up with a tarp. He got married had kids, blah blah and it sat until I bought it in 2004. We moved from CT to KY where it sat until 2015 and I moved it back to FL in 2016.
I need to add that the car and most of parts are in Florida but the rest are in Southern Kentucky . My ex husband can answer all questions and list the parts that he has. There is no problem with getting the entire car for buyer. He's does auto restoration
