1951 Merc for sale!!
Willing to take trade or partial trade. COE's, 30's humpbacks, trucks, customs, ratrods? Must be road worthy and have title.
Body: nosed, decked, shaved, and frenched. Painted with a 1990 Chrysler red inferno metallic 9k paint job.
Drive line: Chevy 454 bored to .060 over with mild cam, turbo 350 trans, ford 9" rear end with 350 gears.
Suspension: Aerostar springs with new shocks. Rear - 4" blocks with new shocks. Rides great! driveshaft has tons of clearance left if you want to go even lower.
Other: Buick front grill, brand spanking new radial fat white walls, spider caps and beauty rings, new gas tank with new fuel sending unit, 23" double bend Lokar shifter, new exhaust - straight pipes with 8" cherry bombs and pencil tips, and custom pin striping.
This Merc turns tons of heads and gets the thumbs up every where you go. Things that need a little love is the interior. It is in good shape but was redone with good not great quality fabric. It's great for those looking to drive the car and not have to worry about it. The passenger side front window is cracked but still rolls up and down with no issues. Stock gauges need some love. The speedometer works but is off by 20 miles. I'm thinking its because the trans gear tooth count is off. Its disconnected at the time. I have aftermarket volt meter, water temp, and rpm gauges installed. I have a new fuel gauge just needs to be put in.
The good: This is daily driver ready. I was driving it every day for over 7 months with no issues. It has a clean California title and I'm the third owner. Tons of receipts and some extra parts.
