BEAUTIFUL 1984 LINCOLN MERCURY COLONY PARK HEARSE

This car is in GREAT condition. It only has 28,495 original miles which is only 891 miles a year.

If you've considered buying a hearse before but it wouldn't fit in your garage, or you felt because a hearse is a big stretched car it would be a hassle to drive, here's your chance to have your cake and eat it too.

This car is a very unique style of hearse in that it is 18' 3" in length, yet it will still carry a full size real coffin. When it was built into a hearse in 1984 it was not cut apart and stretched to make it longer. Most hearses are at least a minimum of 2 feet longer, This makes them harder to drive, harder to find a parking space for, harder to make a "U" turn with, and they won't fit in the average garage.

This Mercury is standard length, you can drive it like a regular car with none of the drawbacks of a stretched hearse.

PAINT & BODY - VERY GOOD

VINYL TOP- VERY GOOD

CHROME - VERY GOOD

INTERIOR - LIKE NEW - Blue cloth interior, blue carpets. Headliner - excellent

AIR CONDITIONING - ICE COLD

ENGINE - Ford's famous 5.0 L V8 engine is extremely dependable, and good on gas. It is all original, but a set of chrome valve covers, or COBRA aluminum valve covers along with a custom air cleaner would go a long way to dress up the engine compartment. If you have a "need for speed", they make tons of very reasonably priced bolt on performance equipment for these 302 engines that can boost your horsepower in a heartbeat.

EXHAUST - This car also features a great sounding custom dual exhaust with low restriction mufflers, dual custom polished aluminum skulls, and a flame thrower system that is sure to make you a hit at any show or car cruise-in.

TRANSMISSION & REAR END - EXCELLENT - Transmission shifts smoothly as it should, and the rear end is whisper quiet

WHEELS - The car came with 14" wheels and tires from the factory. We installed a set of chrome Pacer Supreme wheels with 225/75/R15 tires which gave the car a much more aggressive look while also improving the ride quality.

Some of my pictures give you closeups of the custom additions to the car:

The skulls on the landau bars

The "GHOST RIDER" lettering

The "ATTITUDE" lettering

The Skull exhaust tips

The winged skull on the rear hatch door

The custom hood scoop with the "HELLRAISER V8" chrome lettering that the stacks come thru on the hood

Also note: the skeletons, and "LUCKY STIFF FUNERALS" signs light with glowing green led lighting, and the two chrome skulls mounted on either side of the rear hatch door have red lighted led eyes.

The front grille has a flying skeleton hood ornament mounted above it.

Silver spider webs fitted to the corners of the windows.

The coffin inside the back of the hearse is only a prop. It is not a real coffin. It looks good, but it is purely for looks, not for use. The car is designed to handle a full size coffin if you ever decided to put one in.

The skeleton sitting in the back is waving his greeting to you as he has his other hand on his bottle of embalming fluid.

Have you ever had anyone drive behind you at night with their bright lights on ? I have designed a special treat for them. At the touch of a button, a skeleton hand with the middle finger extended will appear from under the car and pop up in front of your bumper. Touch the button again and the hand retracts and goes back out of sight under the car.

This is the 17th custom hearse I've built in the last 4 years, and if you're looking for a beautiful classic custom to take to car shows, cruisin's, or to just drive and enjoy everyday... then look no further.

All this car needs is you behind the wheel. Fly into Fort Myers Airport, I'll pick you up, and you can drive it home. This car is also advertised for sale locally, so I reserve the right to close the auction anytime before the car reaches it's reserve price.
