mercedes 560SL convertible with hardtop

1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Additional Info:

1988 Mercedes 560SL I am listing for a friend. This car has been in the same family since 1998 and has been garaged kept since that time. Zero rust. no cracks in the dash or leather. the top is in great condition. It has just had all new brakes and a small service that included an oil change with filter. The fuel pumps are also new. The water pump and rear muffler have been done in the last 10k.
The car runs and drives well and everything works except the cruise control is iffy. The tires are from 2005 but have 3/4 tread left. They should be fine to drive home with, but new ones would probably be recommended due to age. The spare has never been on the ground.
The soft top is in excellent shape with no tears.

It has a clean carfax with no accidents and shows that it came to scottsville virginia from north carolina in 1998.
