Up For "NO RESERVE" Auction: 1985 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel. This car starts, Runs, and drives and looks "Like New". This car has been pampered and garage kept its whole life. The engine always starts on the first crank, and Runs smooth and strong. I have a lot of service records all the way from when the car was new. There are no leaks and the engine and transmission are bone dry. This car needs nothing, all of the electronics work and believe it or not the clock still works and keeps perfect time, along with the power antenna, sunroof and the factory Becker radio works great. Heat works great, and the air conditioning is nice and cold.......it's been retro-fitted to 134A. The brand new factory Mercedes Benz battery Always cranks over even after sitting through the winter in a heated garage. There are no voltage draws and the battery never goes dead. This Benz has brand new Michelin tires, fresh Alignment, and the front end is very tight and this car sure does drive like a big body Benz. No suspension noises, steering wheel is nice and strait.................You would think your driving a new car! No cracks on the dash, woodgrain is like new, and the the interior, including the factory floor mats, seats, and carpeting are all "like new"! The original paint looks showroom new, and has been professionally polished and waxed. The undercarriage is in great shape with no corrosion...........I don't think this car has ever been in the rain! No rust on the body as well. I love driving this car, the Turbo spools right up and the engine runs very strong with great acceleration and the transmission shifts right on point! If your looking for a great collector car and a fun weekend driver-This is it! There are no dents or dings, and all of the chrome is "like new".
